Megan Gale

Gale won a modelling competition in Perth when she was just 18. Gale took part in a modelling contest in Perth at the age of 18. Following a number of years in the industry, Gale became famous when she was asked to be the main character in an advertisement campaign of Omnitel, an Italian telecom enterprise (now Vodafone Italy). She appeared in their advertisements from 2006 onwards, and was retained in 2003 in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the "face for Australia in Italy.' Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has modeled for Italian brands like Gianfranco ferre, Genny as well as Gai Matiolo. Gale also modeled for runway work for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani. (9) Gale is also a fan of many Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale was the fashion analyst for the Australian television awards known as the Logies. Gale announced in January 2008 her decision to retire from modeling on runways after fifteen prosperous years. Just a few weeks later in the event of the launch of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for one last time down the catwalk. For her last look she wore Wonderwoman's dress from The Justice League of America movie that was never released.
