Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker in the United State, is an American musician known for his musical and unique style. MGK is most well-known for his rapid-fire style of lyricism which earned him the stage name Machine Gun Kelly. He began rapping in high school before gaining a fan popular following through a variety of mixtapes. The "Stamp of Approval" was his breakthrough mixtape released in the year the year 2006. It caught the attention of many. MGK was inspired by the success of his mixtape debut to start a music career. Over time, he released four other mixtapes. His career began to explode in 2011 when he signed a contract in partnership with Bad Boy, as well as Interscope Records. In the following year, his debut album Lace Up came out to praise from the critics. In its debut at no. 4 on the US Billboard 200 chart, it featured a number of hits like Wild Boy, Invincible, Stereo and Hold on (Shut up!). General Admission, his second album released in October of 2015, made it to number four on Billboard 200. It also ranked number one for Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
